In this introductory class, a qualified teacher will guide you through simple meditation tools and techniques to demonstrate and explain what it is, why we do it, how it can help and how to build a rewarding meditation practice.

Who is this online course aimed at:
Any one looking to explore systematic mind training techniques like mindfulness and meditation.
Those looking at ways to be less stressed, sleep better, be better round your family or just keen to understand it.
What to bring:
> Bring a yoga mat and a cushion for your head and to sit on
> Or if you have a foldable chair, very welcome to bring that
> Sunscreen and other protective clothing
> Waterbottle
> A couple of friends, although this isn’t a requirement 😀
The types of things we will be covering over the sessions:
> What mindfulness is and isn’t,
> The formal and informal practices.
> Using different types of anchors to stabilise our mind
> Defining Mental health
> Some psycho-education (and not the psycho crazy meaning ahahaha)
> Micro-techniques to help during the day;
> Mindfulness and Thoughts
> Mindfulness and Emotions
> Science supporting it
> Acceptance, Gratitude and Compassion and the role they play.
