The retreat will be filled with practical ways to explore compassion for ourself, how it can be applied into our busy lives, and finding contentment through compassion.

Date 20th of November – 8:30am – 11:30am Living Compassionately Day Retreat

Mindfulness practice helps us to see more clearly the patterns of the mind and teaches us to stay in the present moment, rather than reliving the past or pre-living the future.

Many of us will have known joys and hardships in our life.

Many of us will have had setbacks, disappointments, losses, and other ways of suffering, and of course, we all are growing older!

Most of us don’t want to suffer and would rather find happiness. While there are some misfortunes in life we can’t avoid, we can learn how to orientate our lives and our relationships with ourselves and others in such a way that we can better ride the ups and downs of life. In fact, there is now very good scientific evidence that taking a compassionate approach to ourselves and others not only helps us cope with life’s difficulties but also gives us a more meaningful and happier life.

So this event explores some sources of our suffering and how to deal with them through compassionate mindfulness

Our focus will be on the development of awareness through mindfulness, self-compassion and contemplation. living Compassionately Day Retreat

The Agenda looks like:
  • 8:30am – Welcome, Opening and Guided Practices
  • 9am – Deep Dive into Self Compassion
  • 10am – short break
  • 10:15am – Opening the Heart towards Others – Group Metta Practice and 
  • 11am – Closing
