Compassionate Living – short course

$35.00

“For anyone who is inspired to have more compassion, understanding and harmony in their lives and in our world”

I created this course to offer practical, direct tools to cultivate these heart centred skills. I’ve also found that when we practice in a context of understanding and compassion, meditation is less like a strict discipline and more like a great adventure. In this Compassionate Living course we will undertake this adventure together.

Compassionate Living – short course – 2 Weeks

“For anyone who is inspired to have more compassion, understanding and harmony in their lives and in our world” Compassionate Living

The Compassionate Living Course will help discover new ways of relating to yourself and teach skills you can practice in your daily lives. Compassionate Living

Recent research has shown that the more we practice being kind and compassionate with ourselves, either using informal or formal meditation practices, the more we’ll increase the habit of self-compassion. Compassionate Living

Whether you are beginning a meditation practice or renewing one, doing this work together can enrich the experience. We meditate not to become the world’s best meditator, we meditate to have a better life: more caring, more peaceful, more fulfilled. My aim in creating this course is that you emerge with greater confidence and clarity about this set of tools, about your ability to utilize them, and about your own vast human potential for happiness.
Mindfulness practice helps us to see more clearly the patterns of the mind and teaches us to stay in the present moment, rather than reliving the past or pre-living the future.
Who is this course aimed at?
  • anyone, at all levels of experience (although some previous practice would be amazing)
  • anyone 16 years and over and interested in compassion
  • anyone simply wanting a gentle, relaxed experience.
  • anyone who may have tried different ‘styles’ of meditation previously and didn’t like or benefit from the experience
  • anyone wanting an understanding of the fundamental and underlying principles of compassion
 Heart Centred Practices:
For those new to compassion or mindfulness, when we bring our attention into our heart we can find a real gentleness for our selves and others. In bringing our attention in this way, we experience a kind of wholeness or integration of our being.
